About Me

and a bit of my pug

Hi, I’m Pauline, a pre-professional dancer, pug lover and a bit of a structure addict.

With a decade-long career in ballet and experiences living in four different countries, I’ve learned the power of hard work, passion, and the importance of building a family atmosphere in the workplace.

My journey took an exciting turn when I co-founded my startup, A la Second, where I discovered the world of technology. This transition sparked my curiosity and lead me to a new path of learning and growth.

I’m passionate about lifelong learning and gaining insights from diverse cultures.
While I’ve always seen myself as a creative individual, I never imagined I would find programming so intriguing. The realization that programming can amplify creativity has sparked my interest, and I’m excited to explore this field further.

In web development and UX/UI design, I strive to create intuitive, accessible technology that simplifies complexity and improves engagement. Drawing from the clarity and elegance of dance, I focus on digital experiences that resonate emotionally with users. My design philosophy is rooted in building user loyalty and driving business growth. I recently build an interest in designing for tech companies, as their products often seem too complicated for those outside the field. I believe it’s essential to make technology as easy to understand as possible for everyone.

I’m excited about the future and the opportunities it holds for growth and exploration. I thrive on challenges and am eager to expand my skills. For me, it’s crucial to find teams where trust and collaboration flourish, as I know I work best surrounded by people who share my dedication and enthusiasm.

  • Obsessed with Pugs (90% of my Instagram feeds are Pugs).
  • I try to travel with my Pug as much as I can, and therefore need to put her on a diet (she needs to weigh less than 8kg to travel under the cabin seat).
  • Cereal lover (breakfast, dinner—any time is cereal time).
  • Teaching ballet classes to adults and teenagers about four times a week alongside my studies (because I enjoy it but also to somehow stay in shape after all the studying).
  • Deeply fascinated by Japanese culture and currently learning Japanese.
